Re: Update on replacement of damaged satellite dish and suspension of some satellite channels
Our SMATV operator, Pacific Satellite International Ltd. (Pacific Satellite), will replace the typhoon damaged satellite dish from 10:00 a.m on 16 February 2009 to 17:30 p.m. on 24 February 2009.
During the replacement period, the reception of existing satellite channels “BS1” and “BS2” will be suspended. Besides, the signals of some satellite channels, which are transmitted vide a smaller satellite dish which mounted on the damaged satellite dish, will also be affected. In order to minimize the impact of the disturbance, Pacific Satellite will install a temporary satellite dish for the continuous reception of these satellite channels. During the signal diversion, the following satellite channels will be interrupted momentarily:
- Arirang TV;
- Bloomberg TV;
- China Entertainment TV (CETV);
- Deutsche Welle TV;
- Fashion TV Hong Kong;
- Horizon Channel;
- Now TV;
- Phoneix Chinese;
- Phoneix InfoNews; and
- Sahara TV.

有關：更換受損之碟形衛星電視天線及暫停轉播部份衛星電視頻道
衛星電視公共天線供應商「柏衛通訊器材有限公司」將於2009年2月16日早上10時至2009年2月24日下午5時30分期間進行更新工程，更換較早前受颱風吹襲時所損壞的碟形衛星電視天線。
於更新工程進行期間，衛星電視頻道“BS1”
及“BS2”
的接收將會暫停。 此外，因一隻較小的碟形衛星天線接連於受損壞的碟形衛星天線，部份由該碟形衛星天線接收的頻道亦將受影響。 為減低對各住戶的影響，「柏衛通訊器材有限公司」將加裝一隻臨時碟形衛星天線以便繼續接收各個衛星電視頻道。 於工程進行期間，以下衛星電視頻道將間歇受到影響：
- 阿里郎台
- 彭博財經頻道
- 華僑娛樂台
- Deutsche Welle TV
- 香港時裝頻道
- 有線新資台
- Now TV
- 鳳凰衛視中文台
- 鳳凰衛視資訊台
- Sahara TV
