Re: Collection of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

 

City Management has recently launched the Recycling Programme for the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment in Discovery Bay. A recycling compartment would be placed at the designated area of each village on the scheduled Sunday. (Please refer to the attached time-table). Residents may place unwanted items in those “collection bins” for collection by our cleaning contractor. Details are as follow:

 

Household electrical and electronic appliances

Televisions, refrigerators, washers & dryers, air-conditioners, video/audio equipment, rice cookers, electric kettles, electric good processors, microwave ovens, heaters, fans, telecommunications equipment, electronic toys and game sets, chargers, and etc.

 

Computer

Computer parts (hard drives, CD-Rom/DVD drives, PC boards), monitors, printers, scanners, mouses, keyboards, speaker, transformers and etc.

 

We will continue to work with residents for a better living environment in Discovery Bay. Thank you for your support in advance.

REMARKS: The service is not “Door to Door” service. Residents need to deliver all recycled electrical appliances to the pre-set designated collection point.

備註 : 各村住戶於當日需自行搬運家居電器到指定地點回收環保斗處棄置。
