"Lymphoma is the cancer of the lymphatic system. It involves the presence of cancerous cells in the lymph nodes but the disease can also spread to other parts of the lymphatic system like tonsils, spleen, thymus or bone marrow. Occasionally it may involve organs outside of the lymphatic system. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is the common one we see while Hodgkin's disease is another kinds of lymphoma but the disease nature and treatment are entirely different.
